The KFX Structural furler is a variation of our new range of KF V3 furlers. This is the 3rd version since our creation in 2003. You will recognize this furler among all : it is the only one with a carbon / Kevlar®continuous line wheel ! Also sometimes called “stocker”, a structural furler integrates the main forestay. It is therefore a fixed furler. It is a piece of equipment that can be found on the vast majority of racing yachts or on high-performance cruising catamarans. A furler is on average 8 times lighter than a conventional reefing furler and does not allow the use of a partially furled sail. KFX Structural furlers are fitted as standard with a carbon / Kevlar®continuous line wheel, a reinforced ABS drum protected by our K Krok neoprene protection, reliable and durable stainless steel fork, secure fittings (pins screwed / glued or lashing eyes), our remote locking system for the continuous line wheel and a swivel also protected by its K Krok. All KFX can be ordered as a single line version. The KFX furlers can be supplemented by V3 furlers for other headsails and are available in 3 versions : Racing and Classic with different finishes but always in the same spirit of performance. There are many options available to make it unique and perfectly suited to your needs. For more than 15 years, Karver has been shaking up the market by regularly offering new innovations. We are at the origin of the remote locking systems of the continuous line wheel, of the system of quick furling line installation, captive fast pins, friction sheaves with fast pins, carbon drums, … and we are above all recognized for offering the lightest and most compact furlers on the market. This is the reason why we are very present aboard offshore racing yachts and aboard the most efficient yachts such as the Imocas which are equipped with more than 70% of our furlers.
